Clay Mitt Advice

(1/2) > >>

jameseddie:
Has anyone tried a clay mitt, if so any recommendations?

AndyBrown:
Ye I got one from Mandy.
I can't really compare it to a propa clay bar as I've never used one, I could feel it removing all the sh*t tho and the paint felt smooth after.

I used the remaining of the water in my wash bucket to lube it often and a spray bottle with a mix of water and shampoo to use as lube on the car. Make sure you use plenty and I washed it in the wash bucket after each panel.

Clay mitts are pretty good but I've found they're only really good enough for maintenance and arn't aggressive enough for a bad car. Also I've found that towels are better than the mitts are.

Thanks guys!

Yeah, you can't go wrong with a clay bar. Always amazes me how much crap they remove that the eye can't see. Was under that impression but there's nothing like user feedback/advice :drinking:

I'll take a look at that towel now then.

If anyone else knows of a decent towel/ mitt I'll be grateful.

Same cloth as what I sell, slight price difference though.

The clay mitts and cloths are the same, just depends what you prefer to use. Less chance of dropping a clay mitt I guess, more clay surface area on a cloth...
