Stop Tech ST41 BBK fitting with pics *update cracked disks after 4 weeks*

dansmith180:
I've got MTEC drilled and grooved on the front of mine with the TTRS calipers, have done about 5K miles and they're fine. I haven't tracked them but have given them a lot of sh*t. TBH they probably give mininal if any performance boost but I like the way they look.

Got my replacements yesterday and fitted. I'm a lot happier now, and the slight feedback I had always got has also now gone. (Must have been the cracks)

If anything they should provide more stopping power due to larger surface area, I really don't think heat is an issue.

Also I'm producing a detailed report with lots of photos and measurements as today will be the last time I see the old disks as I have to send them back for warranty.

See below for pics

Any chance of an update on this thread please?

How did the return go?

s31teg:
Yeah got refund. Never had any more issues. Went threw 3 sets of pads in the year. Actually ended up getting pads from Netherlands direct.

Now sold the car. Definitely a good setup!

grey golfster:
Glad to hear you got sorted!

I am still on my first set of pads, any chance of a recommendation on a supplier for ST41 caliper pads?
Have only found red stuff (amazon - £90) or originlas via Awesome (£100 ish) so far.

What have you moved on to?
