We watched Southpaw too..my other half cried "cause she's a soppy sentimental type" and thought it was great.
But I must admit I wasn't that fussed on the film.
Couldn't help the feel that almost every scene was ripped straight out of the Rocky Series of films.
Was expecting James Brown and Carl Weathers to appear at one stage.
I don't think it's a Rocky 'reboot' intentionally ??
Just my thoughts.

Haha I know what you mean. When he was out running and in the old school gym it reminded me too.
But over all I did enjoy it!!
Have you seen the trailor for 'Creed' ?
If not, youtube it.

Loved Southpaw! I thought it tilted its cap towards the rocky saga in a good way. Really looking forward to Creed too! Next up will be Straight Outta Compton.
