So if this cheap sensor fails then it will need re gassing, not just a case of replacing the sensor with a genuine one this time? So the worst case scenario is actually cheap sensor fails, £ for regass + £ for genuine sensor? I said what I said thinking that it would just be a case of - replace cheap sensor with genuine sensor and its done - that would be worth the risk. Spend £4 to possibly save £60/70.

Isnt there a valve in it to ensure that doesnt happen? I cant remember

I don't think there is as the only two valve and the hot and cold side inlet valves. @tappy is there a valve where the pressure sensor fits mate?.

TAPPY:
I'm not 100% sure as I haven't had to change one for a long time but I believe I have read somewhere that there is a valve.
