Hi mate, its not a chinese copy, its Chinese VW OEM. Its VW unit made for chinese cars. Apparently

Hiya. Sorry, didn't mean to imply it is a copy. The head unit is intended for the Chinese market however there are way too many copies on ebay to tell. It's still an ok head unit just has some limited functionality.

I have bought two of these head units from Ebay for my last two cars and generally been lucky on Ebay as alot of these get replaced for the satnav version. I always checked at button placement as i was aware of Chinese OEM that are lacking RDS and other options. 

My one working fine with RDS DAB looks like this.
