Changing the vacuum pump, wasn't too bad to do. The only tips I would give, is not to over tighten the bolts and make sure the plastic bracket that holds a loom, goes back the right side of the bottom bolt! If you don't it will leak all over again, like mine did!  :fighting:

I don't have the part number, but this is the part I bought from eBay. The genuine one from TPS was nearly £100 more  :surprised:

It is the new revised pump and it fitted spot on :happy2:

I was the same as you, after reading through many of the other great build threads on here, they give you the inspiration to have a go yourself.

Which I certainly am doing  :grin:
