Absolutely stunning

Updated the list of modifications planned. Everything is ordered apart from the brakes and remap. Now I'll just have to wait to get all of them to then schedule with my mechanic. :popcornsoda:

Forgot to order the CTS Turbo turbo outlet pipe but while going through the Mods Catalogue saw it and was still able to get it added to the original order.
So much stuff to upgrade... Geezz! :scared: :laugh:
Shoduchi:
Definitely talking about engine upgrades with my friends is dangerous for my wallet... :laugh:
So I postponed the front brakes upgrade and ordered a Forge Motorsport oil catch tank system for vehicles with charcoal filter (FMMK5CTC).
Decided to get the Brembo Z8 with 350 mm GL450 discs when I have funds available for them.
In the meantime more bits have arrived. There are also more that I have to pick up from shipping companies or from car part stores.
At home:
* H&R Sport springs
* H&R front and rear sway bars
* Darkside Developments S3 uprated IC
* Cherry red hazard switch
* Mk6 brushed metal fuel door switch
* Mk6 rear view camera
* Mk6 OPS parking sensors front and rear
* Bluetooth kit upgrade (7P6035730J)
* Turbo muffler delete for K04 -> to be returned as the CTS Turbo outlet pipe does the same
Searched online about new firmwares for the RNS-510 and updated successfully my old version A to a modified 5238 with secret menu and VIM activated. :smiley:
Followed the instructions of this trusted site: http://gpsunderground.com/forum/volkswagen-seat-skoda/34434-vw-rns-510-skoda-columbus-i-firmware-guide-downloads.html
The update went well in the 1st attempt. Burned the CD image to a Verbatim CD-R at 16x. The update erased my radio list, the maps, my favourite locations and my personalized POI file. So as I wanted to go for a drive I took the opportunity to save the maps without spending more battery power. Really enjoyed the almost 40 miles of the drive. The engine and the gearbox are great as standard. :grin: Made an average consumption of 28 MPG. It's what I get on my daily driving as well. :smiley:
That's it for now.

Best version of the best GTI ever made, MK5.
This will become a monster! :happy2:
