The ride height looks a touch high at the back (the pics at the bottom of page 42).  Do you find that helps on the track?  I tried a similar height on mine but the Ohlins default height (a bit lower at the back) seems to turn-in a lot keener.  Just an observation

I raised the rear coilovers when setting up the suspension to transfer more weight to the back. I think the rear is well sorted now (loose enough) with the way I have the coilovers set to F6/R1 and the ARB soft/soft. I might try the harder setting on the front ARB to see what it does to the handling. There's always space for improvement. Thank you for your thoughts.

It's good to experiment with the adjustable dampers and ARBs  :happy2:   I run a lot more rebound/compression at the front and also have the front ARB stiffer than the rear one.  That keeps the rear neutral and predictable and also improves feel and steering weight   I find too much stiffness at the back causes too much lean at the front.

very nice project! :happy2: :happy2: any updates?

Other than changing the oil and oil filter and driving it, nothing to report so far. I've been focusing on different projects since the beginning of this year. I hope I can re-focus a bit on my toy car and go do more track days. The mileage has increased to 108k km/67,1k miles.

Shoduchi:
I've taken the car out while the weather was still cold and dry to test with dragy. Even after 2 years of driving a lot less, it still performed well. I've improved from 8,96 s to 8,62 s (corrected time).

Plans for this year are replace the cam belt and cam chain, and fit the stage 2 balance shaft delete kit from VIS Motorsport. I'm also going to get the headliner retrimmed. It started sagging and one day my son pulled it... It's awful now.

Today is the 7th anniversary of buying my Ed. 30! :pomppomp:

RBS:
Those figures look :happy2: I’m glad you’re still enjoying your Ed 30 :happy2:
What’s a stage 2 Balance shaft delete kit?
And kiddo’s… will be kiddo’s  they always are doing something they shouldn’t!!
Bin there also
As for your celebration… cheers :drinking: :drinking: Enjoy  :happy2:
