I mean do they require and bumper modification etc ?, some coolers make a point to saying 'No need to modify the bumper' indicating some could be required - others don't say anything, potentially indication some cutting required.

No, THS, Revo, APR, DsD, Peron don't require any modifications to anything to fit.
The stupid ones that go infront of the A/C rad for that true bad boy look may do.

Do these aftermarket intercoolers come complete with all the piperwork too?
Sounds like it might be a straightforward job after all with no visible signs of it being installed - which is something that appeals to me  :smiley:

i was planning on a forge style cooler as its seems eaiser to fit and personally i liek the look of the subtle cooler through the vents

Thanks, that's what I meant. I want one that looks as discrete as possible so black is a likely choice. I know Airtec are popular in Ford circles. Any opinion on these ?, hard is a cooler to fit ?, could it be done on the drive or is a ramp etc recommended ?
