Boot pop - struts question

Thinking of doing the boot pop mod. Question is what year does the Fabia struts have to be from? Or does it have to be a specific model too ?

Same with the Leon pins too

It doesn't matter about the year,  just get the correct part numbers (do a quick search you'll find them)

Perfect , can head to the local scrappies and save about £30 !

You'll need the release coded again to ensure it doesn't hold it on the 'secondary catch'.
