Well, a map tweak to reduce the boost a bit on the slipping RPM won't hurt that much your available engine power on track, I think. It shouldn't slip on high RPM where you'll drive it more. Don't you agree?

teo_parvu:
That would be also something to look for. But until then, we found out that my dsg clutches pressure is only 11.2 bar maximum. That is pretty low.

Ah, yes. The new DSG tune should increase that.

I’m back in the game, the new remap did the trick.
It was a painful week, we couldn’t write the new map, the K-line wire was not connected since the conversion. At first we tought there is a protection or a software missmatch somewhere because we only got “unknown ecu hardware” error. Thankfully, after trying with different tools sent urgently from Greece, one clever guy checked the wiring and discovered the missing connection.
Now I see 14-15bar constantly, even saw 17+ one time in the logs. The shifts are more aggressive, and I can feel this. Don’t know if it is normal.
Now I wonder if I should do a DSG recalibration.

I needed to do a DSG reset after the new engine and DSG remaps.
