Air con high pressure valve

Evening chaps. I have just spent the last hour or do trying to remove the electrical connection on the top of the air con high pressure switch but with no luck. Is there a knack to removing it? I have ripped my arms to shreds!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Helps to push it on before pressing in the releasing clip, then pull off.

GTiBlues:
As above, they are designed to take off without yanking etc. Simply push in and pull back ;)

Thanks chaps. Got a friendly mechanic (with thinner arms) to get if off for me. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have solved the problem. Back to the drawing board....
