Yes but rumoured to have non std sticky tyres and was factory "Tweaked"

Bear in mind the lack of 4Wd weight means that the lack of 20hp evens it out, Cant see the Seat getting near the R it if its wet tho  :happy2: :happy2:

Im thinking of sticking in and order for one. Black, 19" Pretoria (seen images of one at the ring with them) and also the full recaro interior. Looks stunning and hopefully like my ED35 number will be low.

The R is a nice car and very quick but I'm worried that in 2 years the used prices will drop due to the increased volume of them sold on these cheap lease deals. The R400 is going to be out of my price range and with 3 VW dealers within 100mile radius the one I deal with all the time is furthest away he has 6 firm orders, the 2nd closest one has 13 firm orders and the closest one i refuse to use as they are a shower of sh*t!

Will have to make a decision soon and just go for it.

So,after trawling the net,following the links posted,I'm slightly confused about this model.
Is it an Anniversary edition or a GTI Clubsport in the vein of the Porsche 928 Clubsport models?
Will it be linited numbers?
When is it available in the UK and why,oh,why is the VW UK website so sh*te at giving information on upcoming models like this, when every motoring website is trying to get the scoop on it?
I want one.... but I want more info on them,now.
I want to know what they drive like and whether It's worth chopping my beloved Edition30 in for, or will I be disappointed?
