Hi RICH, Live in Basingstoke, though don't hold that against me! (Orignally from London - North, then South, before heading Hampshire way!!!). Am really impressed with the Pirelli; for some reason dropping my daugthers off all over the place doesn't seem such a chore! My 6 yr old even refers to the Pirelli has 'daddy's rocket'....Bless. (though it's not so could when she tells the child minder that daddy's car goes really fast.....

I see the forum mod squad are already trying to spend your money for you :pomppomp:

I agree though, get a remap and if you believed that the car was fast before a remap, after it wil make your jaw drop!

I'll second all the remap comments. Best money you'll ever spend on a performance mod.
It just fills out the power band (which has a hole in it you don't even realise is there UNTIL you're remapped).

I switched back to stock a few weeks ago and thought there was something wrong with my car.

Welcome to the forum
Nice to see a few Pirelli owners - we must nearly be into double figures
I have not seen another on the road yet which is nice, though to be fair, most black Golfs look pretty similar to the casual eye.

I had mine mapped by the local VW Dealer (never had a car mapped before) and it really is quite shockingly fast through the gears. You feel like you are hanging on for dear life through 3rd and 4th gear !!!!

Enjoy the ownership experience and joining in this very friendly forum, the guys on here really are a fountain of knowledge
