coilovers RECOMMEND

<< < (3/4) > >>

dom069:
If you want half decent coilovers then you'll have to spend a minimum of £400, if you want cheap coilovers that go low but ride horribly then get FK/JOM.

vsgti:
Had Apex RDX on my previous Golf. Got them for £420 and ride was near factory just slightly firmer and they went quite low.

Fk Coilovers for £180, might not be the best ride but cant grumble at the price  :happy2:

Ricky123:
I've had jom and FK coil overs fitted to previous cars and there were quite a rough ride. As said above the £200ish coilovers aren't to clever if you still want some comfort.

I had a set of coilovers from a company called v-maxx fitted to my old Passat 1.8t and there were really good. Went nice and low, nice firm ride but far from uncomfortable. I'd recommend them to anyone on a budget. There priced between FK/Jom and AP coilovers.

dansmith180:
For a good balance on looks/ performance and comfort then £400 is about the cheapest you'll get any. As said the cheaper ones won't give you a good ride, I had JOMS on my old fabia and they looked good and handled quite well but if I went for a drive just after a meal I wanted to vomit.
