Rholtby Tornado Red Editon 30
Rholtby:
Hi guys and gals. I've always been a fan of the Golf MK5 and originally wanted an R32 but due to changing jobs and losing put on a company car I chose to hunt for an ED30. A few months of hunting and this beauty popped up. I am so glad I went Ed30 I may be biased now but I think they are a better looking car than the R32.
What's be done so far
▪ New rear light
▪ Aftermarket VW style head unit
▪ Dbilas induction kit with new K&N filter
▪ DRL depo headlights
▪ Revision G diverted valve
▪ New PCV
▪ NGK laser platinum spark plugs
▪ 10,000mile service
▪ Gloss black badges
▪ stainless steel foot rest
▪ Pressed plates
▪ HID bulb upgrade
▪ wind deflectors
▪ chrome tipped window switches
▪ GTI seat inserts
▪ Eibach lowering springs (not fitted yet)
First things first was fit a new rear light as the passenger outer light was somehow warped inwards.
So here she is. I got her home and got a bit over excited and foamed all over the car :ashamed:
Then she was polished with autogleam and waxed with
Then a pal decided he wanted to see my new toy, knowing it's better than his
And that's it so far now I'm at work and taken the car for her first trip, with me, to France. Here she is waiting patiently while Eurotunnel cancelled my crossing for no reason

* I've ordered some Team Heko wind deflectors as ive had them previously on my fiesta and swear by them.ntheu may stop the water coming in the window too.
* An auxiliary input socket from ebay that should fit one of the blank spaces by the gear stick thingy, or ive noticed people have it fitted into the centre consol
* new pressed plates for when I transfer the private plate over,
* LED rear number plate bulbs
* black washer bottle cap & coolant cap
* the bottle opener, drinks holder that fits into the centre consol
That'll be all for a few weeks until I sell my Fiesta Zetec S then some minor changes will take place
* Tint rear windows to factory level tint
* Upgrade the stereo
* K&N panel filter/possibly induction kit
* Refurb the wheels Anthracite or Gun metal grey
Any comments and suggestions will be appreciated
Thanks, Rob

Looking good mate :happy2:

Sweet looking ride! I would say add a polo aerial to your list as its only about £12 and it does get rid of a certain RC car look that comes with the standard aerial. :happy2:

Awesome car, in my opinion far better thar R32 which is heavy, consuming and has no tuning potential! :driver:
Go for Gun metal grey wheels! :happy2:
