I would of been tempted to fit the lifting bracket where the aux belt tension goes since the box is still left in.

The lifting bracket? Do you mean the engine mounting bracket or and anchor point for the engine crane to lift from?

Better postion for getting the angles right for gear box mating.

Basically new oil strainer fitted. Only need new gaskets for the oil return pipe now and that's the engine complete.

Will be ordering a new clutch kit and flywheel in the next couple of days and fingers crossed I can start the refitting process at weekend. If all goes well, if the weather is good and I start early enough then I think I could have it done in a day.
