Big turbo build, shopping almost complete

I have a Precision 5558 on my GTI with Cupra BWJ engine, and i'm making 489bhp. What made you decide on a bigger turbo for just 400bhp?
Also are you sure it'll fit? Have you bought the specific CTS silicone hose from intake to turbo?
I have REVO stage 4 software combined with an Eboost2 (GFB makes a boostcontroller that works fine with REVO as well) and it works great.
I think you'll have issues fitting the turbo due to the size. My mechanic at BNA Performance DK had to disassemble the turbo to get it in place with the engine in the car. Remember Norlock washers for manifold, wastegate and downpipe or it will losen itself.

Original plan was to build a r32 turbo I had pretty much the full kit just needed a do our car but that's where I struggled as I wanted it to drop in but it was turning out a huge job and cost me a fortune where as I wouldn't have to spend much more to just build my Gti

So the turbo was to run on a vr6 hence size and it was too good an offer to refuse tbh.... 400 is just to start when it's run in and I have a working set up I'll go forged and go for 500/600

I know it's pointless being fwd but sod it.... If needs must I'll put it in a s3 at a much later date

Fitting it is going to be an issue... I'm having custom boost pipes and down pipe made so if I have to we will do pie cuts to get it to miss the shafts... Iv seen gt35's on a Gti so I don't see it being a huge issue...

Quick question what's the best bhp you can get out of stock Pistons?! I know the rods are the first to go....

Also software has been sorted pag parts in the states will send me a custom tune in a ecu so it's plug and play :)

chudds:
Today's offering... Rs4 injectors

You should get the CTS custom silicone hose if it fits your precision as it will make your job much easier. Regarding room for the turbo, you have chosen a more compact cast manifold than my CTS one so you might have a bit more room, but going higher bhp it will be less than optimal for you.
The level of bhp isn't an issue, mine are fine from third and up, boost in second it just spins the wheels no matter what tyres i chose.
