Think Statler are UK HPA dealers, so that'd be awesome having seen their work on this very forum. If the 'box and clutch can handle stage 2 easy then that's something I don't have to factor in when choosing modifications to the Golf R.

I'd like to say it'll stay stock, but that's probably just lying to myself more than anyone.

You have no problems with stg2 mate
I'm on stg3 & getting a bit of clutch slip but the latest revised GIAC dsg map would solve the problems as it increases the clamping pressure

I was going to get Revo maps for my Golf R as I travel a lot so having the ability to tweek setting myself is great but I'm starting to think about GIAC software seriously.

Had a superchip's map on my Golf R and it was terrible(came with the car),I spoke to Steve at Staller's yesterday and it look's like Giac is the way to go. :smiley:

I've heard from a number of owners saying the superchips map isn't good..
Best to go for GIAC or go custom map with R-tech
