Changing actuator without removing turbo? Any tips?

<< < (2/2)

Nebnej:
Hello Mate,

I'll have the actuator. Drop me a message on how you want paying etc (I assume you want to avoid eBay due to fees etc)

Cheers

Ben

should be posting today bud  :happy2:

Nebnej:
Parts arrived thank you. Looks like my weekend may be written off.

I believe I will need to reset the Ecu to basic settings after fitting? Also, I plan to screw it t the exact position that the old one is at. Does anyone have any other tips for setting it up?

Cheers

Is this the same for AXX engines? I've been a bit down on power for a while thinking I need a new turbo but if I can just do the actuator that's a relief. Thanks

Nebnej:
This is a job I never ever want to do again. It's a complete pain in the arse, getting the actuator bolts out and in is a complete nightmare, probably easier to whip the turbo off to be fair.

Broken my n75 valve though so it was boosting well until the pipe to the actuator broke leading to massive boost for about 1 second before the ECU stopped all the fun! (And saving my engine)

Trying to find an N75 now ...
