Battery drain

Hi all. Have recently bought and fitted a 2012 rcd510 headunit into my 2006 gti. Had the battery drain so have bought a newer canbus gateway. I don't have vagcom though so my question is, does anyone near Forest of Dean (Gloucestershire) have the equipment to do it?
