Ridding car of tobacco smells - suggestions?

I am seeing about another steam clean to see if it help, also going to try your suggestion thank you!

headliner is where most of the smell comes from, smoke goes up. It's important to clean it

Quick update...

Dakota bomb used again. Fail
Fabreze. Fail
Tried another odour make. Fail
Washed and cleaned carpet; cleaned and treated leather; slight difference but still strong
Changed all cabin and filters again
Enzyme stuff in there now to see tomorrow.

So in summary I have used all the popular products, cleaned loads and still no luck.

Headliner cleaned more than I'm happy with now, worried the glue will fail.

I've found one thing that helps. An open window.

So my advice is be really careful of any car that even hints of a smoker and don't waste your money on these remedies that just don't work.
