When I get a bit of time I think an upgrade is in order with image uploads.

Indeed it is, and always has been, but I have no conscience where that is concerned.  If they hand me a pass certificate, all is well    People on here bash out their cats all the time and still get a pass  :sm

It's come up on here before and I'm sure someone said MK7 fronts bolt right in, but the rears are obviously completely different.  The airbag and electrical harnesses will be different to a MK5 as well.

Anything A3 from the same years should fit, possibly the TT as well.

Does Stage 1 account for more flow with a TBE?

As soon as I put on my new PS4's on the front I noticed a stark difference in grippyness.

Nah, stage 1 is written specifically for

Are Castrol still playing that stupid game?   Partly why I stopped buying their oil years ago.  Apart from my MK1 GTI which took 3.5 litres with a filter change, I've never owned a car since that takes less than 4.5 litres.

According to my recent research it now seems that c

Some more maintenance the last few days.

Had a sticking front right caliper. Brakes were getting pretty hot so didn't want to damage them. I wondered if it might just be the pad slides being dirty so cleaned them up and regreased everything but still sticking. Pushed the piston further out on the caliper and could see it was getting quite corroded behind the dust seal s

if the car hasn't corrected itself yet.. then take the terminals off the battery and leave the car to stand dead for half an hour or more. this will reset the ECU and i'd pretty confidently say it will sort the car.

I had a similar thing way back on a different car.

Interesting!  I reckon the pedal potentiometers develop a dead spot, which the ECU can work around up to a point.....and then throws a code when it can't.   I think in VCDS you can plot the pedal movement in the graphs section.  You will see if there's a dead spot with that.  Same thing happens to in-tank fuel pumps.  Sometimes you can whack the petrol tank with a hammer, which wil

Just bought one from ebay.de for £120. TPS wanted £200.

Shoduchi fitted DeatschWerks DW65v LPFP, it's over £250 though.

Yup.  Pretty sure it's just a rebadged Walbro, which makes it very expensive indeed, for what it is.  As I say, that pump only fits in early
