What's the cars Spec?

Wait till the weather is wet. Then you will see a real difference in the traction.  :driver:

I wanted a rising blue R and finally got one. My second choice was white. Think the car looks great in that colour.
I've never seen a white R on the road. Only at shows.

It's dsg
With touch screen stereo, cloth interior wich looks really nice in person , 19" alloys

To be honest I've not seen any mk6 r on the road since I've got it !
Does anyone know how many were made?

Lovely motor pal. It won't take much work to get it outperforming your old GTI. Stock maps are very tame, low on torque, and don't forget it'll be a bit heavier than a mk5 GTI.

No k03 car will come close to a 2+ CDL.

Yeah they're worth the wait, definitely.

As it happens the pump went on today, but it's still at Statller's as it needs a new injector!

As for power, it's making 270bhp and 345lb/ft on the recent Stage 2 map, and I'm going to stay on that map for the time being. The Loba, for now, is primarily for avoiding the fuel cuts I've been getting with the Stage 2 map. But it means that when I go k04 I'll have one less thing to worry about.

I could do the intercooler and intake, then get a 2+ map put on, but I've decided to do the turbo while I'm at it and go straight to a Stage 3 map once all the hardware's sorted.

It should run nicely on the Stage 2 map with the Loba.

The Mk6 R is actually a pretty rare car, just 1,088 were sold in the UK according to this article
http://www.pistonheads.com/features/ph-features/vw-golf-r-vs-audi-s3-blood-brothers/27614

I had a Mk6 R in white previously and you definitely don't see many white ones.

Looking at that review make me feel a little better about my paint as their R also has the rear bumper in a different shade

And yours looks great

Looking great mate, only ever seen 2 mk6 r's on the road and one was my mates. Anyone know the actual number on uk roads?

Is the figure 2500 just white r's or all of the mk6 r's?

Definitely not 2,500 6R's, more like 1,000. (-1 as I managed to write my first one off).

Lovely car OP  :driver:
