sorry for wasting your time as i found out that the sensor that gives this reading is including atmospheric pressure of 14.5 psi subtract that its stock boost

im hoping someone can help ive recently bought a 7.5r very nice but today i found the boost gauge on screen and it was reading upto 2.3 bar at times, turbo has ihi is38 on it which as far as im aware is standard so theres no way its making that boost, is there a faulty sensor somewhere or something that im not aware of, car feels stock to me around 306 bhp and 300flbs

As a former rgv250 owner, I remember the happy times when I spent more on oil than petrol.

Those were the days.  When i handed my wages to a Mr Stan Stephens to fettle my powervalve. 10mpg on a good day

Anyone got a picture or part number for replacement?
My ED30 keeps throwing a fit and going into limp/lumpy idle. I got recovered by AA too, 1st time they cleaned the sensor and it seemed to work but second time it was back with a vengeance.

Does the sensor that kind of rotates just separate from the cable and lug?

I would start with the Boost pipe O rings and go from there. There's 3 of them, one at the turbo end, one at the connection under the crank pulley and one at the intercooler end.

They are a strange double lip seal and tend to wear out, especially the middle one from all the engine movement.
