Was that picture of your Mk5 Golf taken at a show at North Weald at either Players or RPM Live? Swear I've seen it in the flesh, looked ace.

Fair enough. I remember spending a good 10 minutes staring at the rear bumper being impressed with the smoothing work going on.

I dont no who smoothed it as i brought it like that but couldn't see the joint at all. I think it was one of the best mods i got for the car. Was mainly R32 owners who noticed it was smoothed thou.

Lovely looking car, hoping to pick up something similar later in the year.

Any plans for it?

Thank you. Its the best feeling when you pick it up and drive it.

Have already brought some carbon paddles as the standard ones are really small.
No doubt i will be getting some carbon parts :ashamed:
Exhaust will be my next thing as standard is so quiet and im used to having a loud exhaust

I went for a full turboback powervalve from BCS and its so good!

Not running perfectly though so another trip to R-Tech is in order. Just waiting on a Loba pump and IC though first!

Have been looking at them to, Just debating whether on spending the sum of cash on an exhaust.
Have you got a video of your exhaust?

Definately will be going to R-tech once i get some performance mods on

Simple couple of mods today but effective

Changes interior bulbs to led's. Such a difference this makes to the look.

Then gave myself the task of removing the rear wiper as did this on my mk5 and loved the look

Exhaust is finally on and what a drive home   Think i am going to drive in manual mode all the time now just so i can rev the exhaust to hear it. Auto changes to quick to really enjoy it to its potential

When just cruising you can just hear it but when you stomp the pedeal down it really roars. This wasnt even the powervalve so much be really quiet when cruising :surprised:

Very happy with this purchase has transformed the car for me

Few iphone pics

Brilliant exhausts aren't they. I noticed a nice increase in torque across the revs too, and that's without it even being mapped in.

All the Powervalve vids you could ever watch don't do justice to the noise!

Rather similar, Would say it is a little more refined but almost feels like being back in a mk5.

So last weekend some lil b***h decided it was a good idea to take a sharp object and run it along my car :fighting: :fighting:

Absolutely gutted when i came out and i found the damage, The car was so well looked after by previous owner and didnt have a mark or dent on it. :sad1:

Now i am spending my time going to bodyshops to get a quote to fix it out of my pocket!!

In total its:
Both doors
Both rear quarter panels
Boot

Whaaaaaaaat  :fighting: :sad1:

That's sickening buddy, any clues? Park somewhere irregular? Someone eyeing you up in the supermarket or something? Banging someones Mrs? ( )

I hope you can pursue all possible CCTV/clues/information to push for criminal charges, there's no excuse for that. I wouldn't key a car that's parked repeatedly over my drive, let alone for any other pathetic reasons.

Exhaust looks smart, very BCS-like those tips.

Hope it's gleaming again ASAP  :happy2:

So thought I would update this seeing as I have buried majority of the anger that someone could do such a thing to someone's pride and joy and having to pay out of my pockets to get it fixed  :fighting:

After getting the car back from the bodyshop and have it looking how it should be, I decided to start modding again so started off with a Evoms Intake and then getting it booked in with R-Tech for a Stage 2 custom map. To say the least I am overwhelmed with the amount of power this thing has now. No hanging about anymore. Big thanks to Niki and his team for transforming my car

Came away with 280BHP and 334FT*LB
 (https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fdaz.co%2Fmedia%2Fbanaham49%2FMobile_Uploads%2FIMG_4550_zpskze2cqlm.jpg&hash=0f6c1c9e371fe3fa4521a26e2f75f9388f89bc56)

So before leaving R-Tech Niki realized my Manifold Flap Arm kept popping off. Common problem on MK6's from what ive read. Long story short
i have to get a new manifold fitted to stop the arm keep popping off.

Now with that all sorted back to the fun stuff MODDING  Next upgrade will be new brakes seeing as my front discs and pads need changing so may as well take the opportunity to get a new better kit fitted which is booked in for Early November

This is how the car is looking at this moment in time

@gti_mad I got it done at Bucks Body Works. Only a very small place but I cannot fault their work.
