Is this the correct order to bleed - Front O/S, Front N/S, Rear O/S, Rear N/S?

Never noticed any difference following an order personally, but what does help is cycling the ABS pump whilst bleeding. This is why I just pay VW £49 every 2 years to do it as they that and use decent fluid. I can't match a dealer bleed for pedal feel personally, even with a proper DIY bleeding kit. Just putting that out there :smiley:
Don't forget the clutch if it's a manual also.

I've seen that video -annoyingly they don't expand on why they say it's the front Left wheel.
Interestingly, Haynes says bleed order for RHD cars is:
RH Front
LH Front
RH Rear
LH Rear
For LHD cars they just flip the order L to R
Normally I would have started with the furthest away wheel -taking into account the Master cylinder and ABS pump location - so Rear Right.

Have to agree with your comments on getting a dealer to do them.

By the time you've bought fluid and a bleeder kit, you're not far off their very reasonable price anyway tbh. It should be done every 2 years according to VW, to prevent corrosion from hygroscopic water ingress. I just get them to do it every 2nd MOT :happy2:

Can be £39 if they have an offer on,that's what I paid.
