Re: Does the Oversized Ramair Intake require oiling?

I'#039ve got the oversized Ramair and buy the ramair cleaning kit which is a cleaner and oil (i did research if another cleaner would be ok but couldn'#039t get a definitive answer). So you use all the cleaner and then a light misting of oil which means you end up with nearly a full bottle of oil left over, but you can'#039t buy them separately so just end up with loads of oil left over eac

Wahoo! Glad to see it's back on the road.
Really nice wheels, I'd consider those myself if I could decide on a colour. Looking forward to the inevitable K04 swap, looking to do that too soon :)

Hi all,
I was wondering if the NSQ BBK mod was achievable using 17z rear calipers from a Cayenne/Touareg/Q7. a pair of them managed to find their way into my possession and I'#039ve gone as far as seeing if they'#039ll bolt up to my current knuckle on my GTI (which they will).
Once I saw that they'#039ll bold up, I ran into an issue with them not lining up with where

Just because this is old and to post a couple of things I'#039m not sure are included in the previous pages; They did upgrade the intake for the mk6 Golf R with the DV relocation... .....and the Volant did result in low fuel trims, on average, when they had MK6 Golf R people report

With VCDS, look at boost specified, boost actual, intake air mass g/s and actual torque. You can use intake air mass and torque to estimate BHP. Take the car for a pull in 3rd gear from 3k to 5.5-6k and you should get a good enough reading. Or if you can do the same in 4th gear, it'#039s even better.
My cracked k03 turbo, on a stage 2 map, was underboosting by 0.3-0.4 bars

Yeah that's the one. Tho it's funny. The rest of the exhaust on the Jetta is stock while the downpipe is custom all the way back to under the rear seats where it's connected to the exhaust. On the golf the whole system is stock, minus the cat, which is a sports cat.

They are all good choices if you want to stay with VAG. nbsp The RS3 will have you at the Shell station quite often and you'#039ll have boy racers up your backside constantly nbsp nbsp They go and sound amazing though. I'#039m the same age and went from an Edition 30 to an F30 330d, mainly due to the massively increased mileage, but it'#039s proven to be a quick and fun car. <

I've just spent circa £2.5k on the suspension components refresh.
I have spared no expense on ensuring the car is mechanically sound.
Being honest, the car could do with the wheels being refurbished. There is general wear and tear on the car which is expected for the age, the car is approaching 16 years old. There are some minor dents and scratches. The front end does have some stone chips. The inner sills have some slight blistering to the paint. The MFSW buttons work intermittently but I have bought the new control module but haven't had this fitted yet. The cruise control is also intermittent and I have purchased a new stalk, but haven't fitted this yet. Parts will be included in the sale, or if I have time, I will get them installed before sale.. Front and rear dash cams & pioneer double din are not included in the sale.
If you are looking for a well sorted car which mechanically has been looked after well, this is a good car to purchase.
I am in no rush to sell, only considering selling to upgrading. No part exchanges please.
The pictures are prior to the installation of the coilovers, I will upload new pictures once I have detailed the car.
I'm looking for £11,495.00, I paid just under this when I bought the car stock.
Please let me know if you have any queries.
Kind regards,
Sharif
