I have been in contact with some of my old contacts at TSR Performance, Bridgwater Somerset and they are happy to host a RR shootout for our members.
I can arrange a date for September or October with a limit of 30-35 cars at a cost of £25. The more the cheaper it will become.
TSR have had a new Maha 4 Wheel Drive RR installed and printouts will be available.
Please let me know so that I can gauge interest before I open it up to other forums.
If people can be available for most weekends from the mid Sept onwards into October let me know.
I know I won't be booking 10th of October as this Autometrix Trackday which I will be booking into myself.

Think you will find it reads spot on comparing it to Awesome's....maybe slightly under!

its around two hours from birmingham so not that far at all :wink: be sure to keep me informed if it goes on another site...

Yeap they are a Revo dealer...date can be anytime in October so I will pick a date over the weekend.
The price for the RR is pretty competitive too.

helping members on the site know where to buy LED sidelights ( they thought i was trading them) then having a go at a mods for randomly deleting my signature which contained my website with no explanation... i lost the plot and dtried to call and explain, sent loads of emails but to no avail 6 months later...

Aaah, I see your old username now. I think I can remember some of the fuss over there about this. The mods can be a bit errr.......nah I won't say it or I'll be banned too! Seriously though, they don't stand for much on SCN but on other Golf sites (and part of the reason this site exists) the moderation goes to the other extreme. Ya can't win.

If the weather is good, and there are no clouds over France, I will dig the bike out....................... Not interested in RR'ing the car, however the roads to Bridgewater are Epic on a bike!

Ah, yes, didn't bother posting up as I didn't think anyone'd be interested!
Remember I was asking you about the pro's and cons of the Scirocco back along? Well I went and got a mk6 Golf instead!
The mk5 needed a bit of routine work doing on it which when added up was a few ££££ added to which I wanted to re-remap it as the one I had was a bit flat (my own fault as that's what I asked for!!!) so I bit the bullet.
Didn't want a new one as I don't use the car much and it would take me 6 months to run it in, added to the 3-6 months waiting list I'd be no further on this time next year! And I didn't want to pay a fortune for an ex-demo with loads of extras which I didn't really want so I scoured the country for a bog standard GTI which I could add stuff to as I went along when finances or forum/ebay bargains cropped up.
So, there we have it. It's still sat on the standard 17s at the moment so not very photogenic, am waiting for pay day so I can shove a pair of tyres onto my BBSs sat in the garage and get them on the car. Then it'll be worth a few photos! :smiley:
I was going to shove a post up here somewhere but I thought a standard car on 17s would be a bit of a damp squib after everyone clamoured for photos!
