Engine mounts

Time to change both my engine mounts, checked the part numbers on both
Engine (Drivers side) 1K0199262M
Gearbox 1K0199555R
My question is, do I have to replace like for like or can I replace with say one that has a part number ending in “T” for the gearbox one or “P” for the engine side.

To close this off - 6 months and 4k miles later - it has stopped rattling
I suspect it would have stopped sooner, Lockdown has meant the furthest driven since October is a hand full of 40 mile round trips, otherwise it's just short 3 to 5 mile trips only 4 times a week.

The OEM 7R/GTI PP/Cupra R pads are partitioned in the middle, so not sure what brand the pads pictured are.
They are plain vanilla Brembo'#039s as listed on ECP for Mk7 Golf R - very aware of better pad materials out there, my thinking is try the basic and see how I get on - I am sti

Did anyone figure out how to illuminate both left and right side buttons?
I followed the guide of soldering a wire in the left button module and this illuminates only that side.
Any help will be greatly appreciated !

finally installed the RCD330 unit all went well, that is until I switched it on and only the left passenger speaker is actually producing any sound. Gonna have to take it out again to see if I clipped everything in properly. Anyone had this problem?

I'#039ve only noticed slip in 4th up a steep hill at 3500rpm, and that was after a remap. nbsp
For a standard car to slip in 5th/6th @ 55K, someone has either coated the friction disc in KY jelly, or some pretty sh1t clutch control has occurred over a long period.
