Well went down to r tech today for a stage 1 custom map on my ed30. Got down there and there was abit of a mix up with me and a lad with a leon cupra r (1.8 20v). Both booked in at the same time but nick and the lads were sound about it And said it wasn't a problem and they'd get us both in regardless, I thought that was good of em cos they could have very easily sent me 3hours home to middelsbrough :grin:. Chose r tech because of the numerous complements and wow, what a transformation :laugh:. Car pulled 239bhp standard and after a few tweaks here and there from nick it was good for 310. Pulls really hard in all gears and all revs now. Love it Nd can't wait for next.. Stage 2+ :happy2:

Haha did he? Yeah turned up and was like ohhhh no! :signLOL: thought I was guna have to drive 180mile back with "only" 240horses. The maps such a smooth power delivery, just what I was after. 2nd gear just will not have it tho, spinning everywhere, really gotta feed the power, although chasing figures has never been my style I was glad to see over 300 :happy2:

great result! :happy2:

Feck knows how we got to a double booked slot, first time it's happened lol. I like to have as much time as I can with each car upto 3hours per tuning session. But lucky for us the LCR was in perfect condition and responded well to what I was doing, which gave us a nice time window to get your ed30 to where it is now.
I am glad your happy with the results and your noticing the strong but very smooth linear power delivery, which "should" give your clutch a fighting chance for the next 2-3years.. Thank you for the feedback. :-). See you when your ready for stage2+

I'm reading nothing but good things from Nick and co. @ Rtech.
Only things Im considering are industion kit and exhaust (could just be cat-back depending what i can get one for) so my question is would I benefit from bolting these on before a remap;
- A lot
- A little
- Order wont really matter
