Hi All,
First timer on the forum.
Looking for feedback from folk who have installed the Racing Line dog bone mount on their mk5. Just had one fitted (along with a few other mods – suspension, anti-roll bars and exhaust) and although I expected there to be some engine vibrations compared to the stock mount, I was surprised to find there is now quite a significant vibration around 900-1100rpm when I rev up the car (otherwise smooth). Has anyone else experienced this? Just wondering if it is normal or perhaps a sign of a problem? (e.g. poor fitment of the mount or engine not running as it should).
Cheers

Cheers Andy. Glad to hear its normal for this to happen when the VWR mount is newly fitted. Did it take long to bed in?

Mine is only got slight vibration on tick over but hardly noticeable after 1000 miles since fitted..Also got the 034motorsport top engine mounts and are excellent

The Racingline one is a sack of sh1t. The one to get is the Vibratechnics. Vibratechnics make the Racingline one anyway but they (Racingline) specified a durometer that's too stiff. Racingline don't make anything themselves. They are overpriced charlatans.
