book figures are 240bhp, but nurburgrings have full remus, and many have seen figures past 260bhp tbh. I need the money to pay a few bills off.

I bought an 05 plate with 70k on today for 7.5k :confused: It was for one of my drivers direct from the leasing company but still a damn good price for a well specced car! :happy2:

You are looking at a slightly older car for a straight swap mate.
My 08 ED30 has covered 6600 miles, and has a few extras, and if I was to swap I would be the one with a few £ in my back pocket!
Nevertheless, best of luck with the trade.

It hasn't really but the same bloke had had it for four years so it's now his problem! :laugh:

Nope - The X-Bow might have the same GTI engine but it's strictly a track toy. If you had a passenger you wouldn't even have room for a bottle of milk.

Probably stems from the TG team and magazines always putting the Astra/Focus/Golf into the same comparison bracket for buyers in the same demographic. :drinking:

Basically your not going to get an ED30 in exchange plus 5k so standard GTI owners would just put that 5k towards the sale of their GTI's and go for the ED30 me thinks.
Did Stampede (Adam) do the SMD conversion by any chance?
