As per the title, how much should the install cost? Is it a simple thing for a garage to do?
I am assuming this is not something that I can do :)

no replies from anyone, but just had one quote at £70+VAT for fitting. Will take a couple of hours too. Does this sound about right? Anyone? Bueller?

good to know - thanks.

Anti lift is pretty simple tbh.
Lift car, undo 3 bolts at ball joint undo bolts connecting bush housing to sub frame. Pull the old kit off and push on the new.
Tracking will take longer to do.

thanks for that. Again, good to know. I'll check with my local garage if they can do all that. They are usually pretty good so we'll see.

Basically 1hours work max.
if £70+ vat is the hourly labour charge than i would say thats correct.

Thanks mvb12.
I've just popped to see my local garage who said it'll be £20 per side plus time to do tracking. So anything between £60 and £100 inc VAT. Booked in for Friday :)

Its really straight forward to do. I think Id do it mmyself and get the tracking done afterwards at garage as long as you dont have far to drive
-
yeah i am time poor unfortunately and £20 a side is decent. Like i say, i trust that garage so am happy to pay them.

@patpong_pete (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=3923) You'll notice the benefit of this mod straight away. wheel hop and spin greatly reduced.
greater caster angle. turn in is sweet with these.

superpro.

What is the best make to go for or do they all pretty much feel the same with different price points?
Any downsides to fitting an anti lift kit once alignment is done?

Just to close out this thread I ended up paying £45 + VAT for fitting including getting the tracking done.

Have you noticed any change yet? Not counting placebo changes lol

Not had a chance to test yet. Picked up the car then drive my other car to see family. Heading back home in a bit so will hopefully get a chance later.
