Title: Edition 30 stage 2 mpg

Hi Guys,

I’ve been looking at getting an edition 30 for a few weeks now and found some with the exact spec I want (5dr,dsg,sunroof) only problem is I do 80 miles a day mostly motorway and the cars I want both have stage 2+ tunes on and just wondering if anyone has similar car and how the mpg is?

Mine on Stage 1 averages 33-34mpg.  When it was 2+, it averaged 27mpg.

What is your budget?

My understanding is the newer engines are much more economical. Maybe a mk6 or mk7?

I did briefly look at and test drive a mk6 but everywhere I read said the mk5 was a better car and I would like a edition 30 for future tuning.

Yep. Long term averages worked out at the pump over 8 years.
