Or you can buy some off ebay for next to nothing, brand new that work perfectly.

Cheers gents,

I take it they are the slots next to the load and eject buttons?

Yep, they're the one's. Simply push the tools in and pull the changer out.

Simples :happy2:

Just further thought on this thread... Once the CD changer has been removed, is there anything that could be installed that could make use of the empty space?

Thanks

Rich

Please forgive the thread bump (got to be a record), but I have done exactly the steps above to remove my CD changer, using the same removal tools.

One side releases but the other is resolutely stuck (the one closest to the hinge). Is there a secret to getting it to release or any additional fixings that might have been missed? I can’t even get the keys out!

Some times the prongs get stuck on the cd player when you put the tools in..try removing it and swap with the other side

Thanks for the suggestion.

Got it out eventually but it wasn’t pretty. Had to pull the face off! All done now.

For those of you considering doing this, I recommend the Autoleads FP-009 cubby. Simple push fit and looks factory. Great for storing phones and the like.

Any chance you could send a link to the keys you used to remove the radio or send a picture of them?
