And next sunday when  Jonny gets his New Beast... the old man gets jonnys Mk 5... I cant wait... my mk6 stage one has never felt as solid as his mk5.. and the new 5 box feels a lot more  sleeker than my current mk6....

Picked up the new R yesterday, completely blown away by everything about it. Completely different league to the GTI, but I will miss it.

I'm trying to resist the modding though!!

Haha of course! First thing im looking at getting is a front spoiler make it look more aggressive, NeilP suggested the oettinger spoiler, just can't decide  :fighting:.

Then eventually the R600 intake + a rear carbon spoiler.

I was enjoying looking through this thread and then seen these photos at the end and i'm gutted for you fella. I seriously got that sick feeling in the pit of my stomach and its not even my motor.

I have been there with something similar in the past all i can offer you is scant comfort at this point, that once you get through the hassle of repairing it you'll feel much better. Of course you'd probably right now put that effort into beating the shyte out of the tosser who did it, i know i did  but thankfully i did channel that energy into get my car repaired. All the best  :happy2:

Oh that sucks - alloy, wing, & the door. Sorry to read this - hope she admitted full liability, but its always a hassle you never want to be put on you...
Hope it will be repaired to the standard you want.

I hate accidents like this, so easily avoidable and cause massive ball ache to get fixed quickly and to a high standard.

Good luck with repairs and hope she admits fault.

Jeebus wept, that's pretty unlucky - nearly unheard of.

Sorry to see bud. You can bet your bottom dollar if you tried parking badly everywhere you went (like some c**ts do) you wouldn't have had a scratch on it, sods law  :phew: :sad1:

Take some solace in that; if you were in the equivalent S3 or similar dark coloured Audi, no fu**er lets you out of junctions or flashes you to go, so there is a plus side to having an R even if it's damaged    :rolleye:
