Hi all
I've got a Mk6 GTI (as sig. below). I've joined this site as I basically like reading and seeing what you guys are upto. The Mk5's Golf's a great car anyway and I previously owned a much loved Mk5 GT 170 DSG.
Anyway, attached are a couple of pics of my GTI (with my Monza shadows fitted and some interlagos wheels I've recently purchased as a winter set).

That's the colour i'd choose if i ever get a MK6, But i'd prefer 3 doors.

Cheers buddy and thanks for the nice comment regarding the wheels. I recently fitted the interlagos alloys as a winter set. They are starting to grow on me as I wasn't sure I liked the look of them at first.

Love the car. The mk6 looks best in CW IMO.
interlagos rims work well too!

I'm still not a fan of the mk6's exterior styling, but it does look it's best in white. Yours looks like it has a very nice spec on it and the black leather looks much better than the grey in my mk5 :happy2:

What do you guys think if I get my interlagos re-finished in a dark anthractite colour i.e. as below how I've photoshoped them?

anything darker than silver is a win on those rims :happy2:

Great looking car there mate, I've got an GT spot 170 dsg as the the current car and its nearly time for me to change and your car has swung it further in that direction.
Hows it compare with your old car in terms of fuel consumption(I know the derv can easily get 40-45mpg)

I think that looks good, better than the standard silver. :happy2:
Would look good with the silver strip going around too, or is that your photoshop skills :ashamed:

I can only really get 35mpg out of my GTI but the cars absoluataly fantastic, so go fot it......... :wink:

love the wheels in black on the white car but think i would do goloss ala greeners or even just satin..
