Title: Limpmode at zero boost
Post by: generalen15 on July 11, 2022, 07:43:08 pm
hello everyone, so this weird thing start happening with my gti, at first if im flatting out the car to around 140-200+ and let of the gas and just want to cruise at for example 160kmh it will go into limp mode when hitting 0 to 0.5 bar in cruise or manuel cruise^^ (stage2 260hp asking for 1.1bar) and if i look up fault code it say overboost... thats kinda weird when it not really overboosting at all, and sometime if i accelerate slowly at higher rpm it can also throw the car into limp mode (3.5k+ rpm) around 0-0.3 bar boost... anyone have had the same kind of problem?

I would plug VCDS or go to a dealer to see what fault codes come up and start from there.

the fault code is Turbo/super cahrger overboost condition P0234, and as i was saying the car ask for 1.1bar with the map and i can get that P0234 even when im at 0-0.5bar really weird.
