The car came in two blacks - a flat black and a diamond Pearl black. The Pearl black was the LC9Z code. Hence your car must be the flat back. I think the other ED30 colours were Tornado Red, Candy white, steel grey and reflex silver.
Folding door mirrors

Thinking of my next mod is fitting folding mirrors but do they fold a like standard ones!!
Read the later mk5 had the door module fitted already so just need coding in if anyone knows the part number to check mine

Nice to see such a new post, I have a few questions if that'#039s cool as I may have to do mine, I got a remap today but it was running lean and the tuners has pin pointed an injector fault causing it to retard the timing a lot.
How hard is the job to do, how long did it take? nbsp Also, I read you need special tools to install the seals and an injector puller?
HELP!! Replacement BWA or BYD engine required. Anyone??

That BE version is an early revised part from the older alloy end tanks..........as the BP like what I have, nbsp replaced it for whatever reason and is the current part num I believe.........not sure what they changed to improve it.
Otherwise is should work.........you will still have your originals and can mod them to fit without issue.

Another thing I've heard is that the fuel lines can develop cracks and air can get through them, into the fuel feed. If all else fails, this is also something I wanna look into. I'll replace certain parts of the fuel lines with transparent tubes just to see what's up while the engine is running.
