Thanks for the advice. This car is an FSI engine which uses a belt instead. Or do you mean the little chain that drives the 2 cams together.

I would use VCDS to check the chain stretch on the cams when warm to see what condition that is in.

Group 91 and 93 hot idle.

I need to try to figure out why is the ECU pulling timing but there's no knock. Where can I look at or what can I try to resolve it?

Mods are:

k04-064
New LPFP
HPFP with IE internal kit
RS4 injectors
Cold air intake with filter
3" Downpipe
Forged JE pistons with IE forged rods
r8 coils
Forge front mount intercooler
BKR7E gapped to .024
Already tuned by a company

Depends if you have the early hollow BBS versions or the later solid RONAL versions

It does seem confusing, I ended up replacing my metal valved wheels for later rubber versions. This thread may help: https://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php/topic,72725.0.html

The early 17" GTI wheels definitely have metal valves, as I have a set of them in the garage.

They look like the ones in the link above, but the seals can be changed......no idea of the seal specs, so you would need to measure a removed one

@Marticus did ever get round to ordering an RCD330. If so where did you end up ordering it from and are you happy with it. rcd330.com seems to be insinuating that rcd330.co.uk is selling inferior copy units. Whether that's true I don't know could just be he's not happy that someone has taken a chunk of his sales. I'd much rather order from the U.K. as I'm sure it will be a lot easier dealing with a company in the same country.

Hi, no I didn't go that route in the end, I ended up buying an android unit from over here in Poland.

It's not perfect but it works well and costed a bit less I think.

are you sure you have 17" rims as I thought only the Monza 18" rims used that valve.
The part number for the 18" Monza rim is  1K0 601 361
