Hi all, I could really use some help here.
Been experiencing intermittent issues with my dsg gti, with the gearbox disengaging and the usual PRND flashing etc.
Been to a gearbox specialist, and they said its an electrical issue, been to and electrician and he said maybe the selector, otherwise mechatronics.
It's throwing a load of errors from no communication with tcm, no communication with selector unit, etc etc.
So before I go in for a mechatronics rebuild, I want to try a new selector unit, but I cannot find the correct part number.
Can enyone help me out here? And is the selector interchangeable with other units from and Audi for example?

Thank you! I just realised there will be different part numbers for RHD and LHD, and I'm in EU, do you know the LHD part number or is it interchangeable?

Well FML, not sure what to do now. Thanks for the help though!
Maybe there's a different compatible unit from a mk6 or other Audi...

The DSG internals are the same on the gear shifter but left hand drive and right hand drive cars have the gear symbols on opposite sides.
