A quick question since I've never had any other car do this with the wash wipe on the front windscreen.
When I use it it works as normal, washes then wipes a few times.....but for some reason it pauses for about 4 seconds then does one last wipe? The problem is the first few wipes generally cleaned the screen, the air has dried between that and this last wipe so half the time it just wipes dirt all over the screen again :/
Is it supposed to do this?

It's an after wipe to clear away residual drips, as per the rear wash/wipe. A bit like that final wipe of your arse, just to make sure it's all clean.
-
You can turn it off with VCDS
Courtesy wipe or something it's called.
-
Cheers, might get someone to turn it off as most of the time at the moment it just seems to smear dirt back on the winter after it cleaned them :D

I'm probably just in a silly mood, but these tickled me too :signLOL:

Helpful on the rear screen, worse than useless on the front.

My feelings exactly. I think I'll get the car booked in for a service at Stattler in the new year so I know where everything is and ask them if they can disable it.

Where are you based? A few of us have VCDS.
