Ohlins stuff is top drawer, a pal of mine has his own suspension tuning company that does the BSB/WSB stuff on the bikes, if the car stuff is as good it will be very interesting :happy2:

Just read a thread on VW TUNING MAG about these, Gives you a bit more details than my post. They will supply Front and Rear shockers only, Still looks very interesting, After getting let down with the delivery time on the KW V3s these might be the answer

I know you feel a bit let down mate but being a pioneer on any new kit disregarding the reputation that Ohlins stuff hasits downfalls.

V3 = Solid Product, thoroughly tested, fantastic performance + worth waiting for imho

Yes, pure custom made race stuff I guess.

But they plan to release an ''affordable'' street coilover, though ''affordable'' is a relative thing at Öhlins . . .

No they were non race stuff on the mk5 I am sure of it. If it was me and had money to burn then I would be looking at NItron shocks with remote damper adjustment

There are so many suspensions I'd like to have if I had the money.
First the Öhlins, then Sachs racing (as in the GTI24), Bilstein racing, KW competition 3-way . . .

I think it's an S3 (there is a nice view of the rear axle).
But... how do the rear (& front) springs stay in place???
There is nothing to keep them aligned. Is pressure alone enough to keep them together?

You can see the outer bolt is removed from the wishbone, once this is pushed up and the bolt is inserted, the spring is compressed slightly holding everything in place

It's a Mk.VI R.

Look at the strange rear height adjuster. Guess you can make adjustments from below.

So its an S3 in a golfs frock then

I hadn't noticed TBH, but looks like a good idea, you could adjust just by jacking and not taking the wheel off
