Title: Anyone running LED front indicator bulbs?
Post by: Chesto18 on February 06, 2019, 07:18:07 pm
Going to get my front indicators coded as DRL’s. Normal halogen light units.

Looking at them activated at present I think this will be more effective if they were LED’s, especially with the ultra-white sidelights I have fitted.

Any positive/negative comments from people who’ve fitted them?
Any recommendations on where to buy? Plenty of cheap ones on eBay but not sure what’s good or error free.

Any pics?  :laugh:

Cheers!

Once someone pulls out on you last minute and you hit them, they won't be working after anyhow!

@Chesto18 (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=27005)

I used VagCom to code the indicators in too however I felt they were too dim and didn’t look too good. I didn’t test them at night though - the indicators obviously reflect along the strip better in darkness so looks better.

 But yeah I’d love to know if anyone’s improved their look.
