Hi does anyone have a link or any information to help me complete this wiring mod ?
I heard because of the starting amps on a ttrs in tank pump it overheats the fuel controller and causes fuel cut one you go throught the gears at wot.
Apparently there is a wiring mod that will prevent this .
any help please ?

Speak to TSR they figured out how to bypass it on mine
-
I've not once had an issue on the vRS.
-
should i just fit it and hope for the best ? @vRSAlex (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1981)
Niki recons i will get fuel cut around 140mph :ashamed:
Its still in box unused was gonna get it refunded

:jumping: :jumping: if you hear how id like to know also as mine if limping, would cts already have this built in??

Most are ok with k04 its when u work them hard the more my boost went up the worse it got

Dont be silly.
They need the feed bypassed for when on wot somehow.
You would have to run a seperate feed.
The ttrs pump draws over double the current over heating the fuel control unit

@Pikey Motorsports (http://www.mk5golfgti.co.uk/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=7231) ok thanks
i may try it then .
Just dont wanna be out boosting and get fuel cut as people dont tend to buy excuses well :signLOL:
All i want is a wiring diagram or some explanation how to do it.
Ill try tsr see if they will help but dont wanna pay someone to do it if it can be done by myself

Post your solutions here later on!

I'm currently getting quite bad fuel cut at higher revs, already replaced hpfp for an autotech one, changed the fuel filter and changed the lpfp for another used one. Did some logging on VCDS and the fuel pump struggles at higher revs and doesn't maintain 6 bar of pressure (which I believe is what it should be). Was going to get an rs3/ttrs lpfp but now it looks a bit more complicated than that...

I thought the (standard) pump was variable pressure, 4 - 6 bar? So long as it doesn't fall below 4, it should be OK.

Well it was reaching 100% duty cycle and 4bar when I'm reaching higher revs which then results in fuel cuts for me.

Rs3 control harness fixes it apparently it's the easy option but expensive
-
anyone replicated the apr kit with rs4 controller?
i had rs4 controller but can't find it, been tempted to upgrade to TTRS pump too
