Post by: K03MK5 on March 04, 2024, 06:11:05 pm
Best clutch kit for a manual stage 2+ gti running 345bhp engine torque 552.7nm?  Standard one is starting to slip.

thanks

Helix or TTRS, can get the TTRS kit from Decimal tenths

My clutch is on the way out too and I will likely go for the TTRS option. This has been popular for about a decade plus on the USA mk5/6/7 forums and has the benefit of both being OEM based and a lighter pedal pressure. Decimal tenths have a great reputation however depending on where you are located, Midland VW / RTech / AKS also supply.

Yeah I would lean towards the TTRS options as well as it's OEM.  The Helix is heavy, judders a bit and lacks the auto adjustment the OEM clutches have, so the bite point is not consistent as it wears.
