Title: Looking for a garage near Darlington/Newton Aycliffe
Post by: Craig244k on April 10, 2019, 07:07:11 pm
About to pick up a mk5 golf gti. It's got service history with oil changes etc. Last cambelt change done 2011 at 71,000 miles. It's now got 110,000 miles.
I'm looking for an independent garage who are used to mk5s.
As a precaution I'm thinking cambelt, water pump and cam follower change.
Any thoughts or suggestions?

Contact ACR (Andrew Outhwaite) he's near Croft circuit.

He's an indy VAG specialist.

Don't think he has a website but his FB is https://www.facebook.com/ACR-125904530818797/

I have my own maintenance garage in Newton Aycliffe, i built this garage by myself near my house last year. I had a plan to drive all across the UK on my Honda CB500X which I built myself in my garage that I also built by myself in my backyard. The whole process took around 6 months, first i started with garage i ordered the aluminum parts from http://localshedsolutions.com.au/ (http://localshedsolutions.com.au/) and installed it. After that i ordered all RR parts from Honda and start building my loved bike and of course i had some help from my brother who is a mechanic. And it was such a nice tour, now i use this garage for public you can to check your car.
