About £120 new.

Not worth buying second hand though....
It's the battery inside that causes the fault and lasts about 12 years, which means most second hand ones will be on their last legs!

Dismantle it and fit a new cell battery, surely? Pence! Buying a new one at £120 is the very definition of madness!

Hi, sorry to resurrect this! So silly question but how do you open the unit to replace the battery? Thanks

Hi, me again so replaced battery with similar only 1500Mah instead of 2000Mah as OE. Everything great working fine, passed all VCDS checks until last week. Removed, wiring connected as should be but battery dead? Any advice greatly appreciated, cannot be be charging??
