Title: Changing crankshaft sensor
Post by: bobby_fodge on January 09, 2020, 05:22:59 pm
Hi, has anyone changed this sensor and how long should it take?

The guide on pelican parts says two hours but it look like it should take less.

Took me about 30 minutes.  Have to jack the car up, drop the engine tray and then fish around the back of the oil filter housing for the 5mm allen head bolt that holds it in.  It's half way up the block on the gearbox side.

Ta. I thought it couldn't take two hours. I have access to a ramp so will get the car up on that.
